My review on how to pay Destiny Board Traveler from this Yu-Gi-Oh! pack: People seem to dislike this game, and I can understand that, as I did too before I read the manual. Think Yu-Gi-Oh! meets Monopoly meets Sorry for this one. Each character, of which there are several, has a so-called "Super Power" that can be used at random times throughout the game. For instance, Yugi can cause "Change of Heart" on an enemy card. Rebecca Hawkins can "Warp" players around the field. And so on. One thing I like is that Dark Magician Girl is a playable character, and they used good acting for each of the characters at player selection, beginning of turn, and Super Power use. Some people have had trouble getting this game, so let me explain what I've seen and gotten from the manual. You get a hand of 7 cards, like in the card game. You assign one to the "Star Face" of a 6-sided "summon" die, and 5 to a "Regular Face". If you tap A insanely fast (let me repeat insanely), the Summon Die gets a weird yellow fog around it and you're more likely to get your Star Face card. You then move the same number of spaces as the level of the card. If the space is empty, you summon your monster and your "level" (Victory Stars) goes up, again according to the level of the monster you summon. Your victory stars are equal to the total level of monsters on the field. That means that, yes, it's better to tribute a 1-star and a 3-star to get a 12-star. Cool? Good. Oh, and card effects mean nothing even though the text is preserved. On each field, there are four "special zones", where your players start. They have different effects based on the field. Now, if the space is filled, either with a gray "Creep" card or a colored player card, it's time to duel! No support, no magic, no traps. Just monster on monster. Well. Sort of. You move to the battle screen, you're told who your opponent is, and if the card's face up, you see what it is before you duel. Then you move to the duel screen. You pick your Position (ATK/DEF), and then it's a Dice Duel! The attacker rolls first, either to Reduce ATK/DEF by 500, or Reverse ATK/DEF Positions. Most likely it's going to be a miss though. Then the Defender rolls the same. Then, it really is time to duel! The rules are akin to the card game, so I won't explain them here. The goal is to get to the desired number of Victory Stars. I'm not going into the Linkage Map (LM) system here because it's long and complex.
these are the funny spinoff games. well, not really since DDM actually did turn into something; not nearly as popular as the card game but it was published as a collectible game at least
The same two in one, but reshef + sacred card is better
