Go! Go! Beckham! - Adventure on Soccer Island

If you love platformers, then this game's for you! It was made by a Scottish company called Denki in 2002 and released only in Europe (contributing to its "Sleeper Hit" status). They're mostly recognized for their excellent puzzle game Denki Blocks! (release date: 2001), considered one of the best little-known puzzle games for the GBC and GBA. Currently, it seems that they're making kids-based games for something called the Sky Gamestar. I urge everyone to at least TRY this game! From jump street, you're going to notice that it looks similar to Yoshi's Island, but there are a good bit of things to separate it from that game (just play and see for yourself)! Even though it's clearly a license-based game, it's a DARN GOOD ONE and one of the very few that makes GOOD use of it's license! So much in fact that you may find yourself wishing that there was a sequel! (Now when's the last time anyone's thought THAT about a licensed-based game?) Now there are a few cons to this game, one of which a lot of people are going to find this game on the short side (the game has almost 50 levels but they are very short) and too many level backgrounds are palette-swapped; but other than those small things, this is a very fun game. Try it!
