Yes there are so many kanji learning softs out there..I gotta start with the beginners softs though.I can read hiragana and katkana, but that means nothing if I don't know for e.g what a uma(horse) is...The japanese coach is the kewlest ever!But others like Dora Gana are not bad for learing a few basics as well.And thAnd I'll try this here too!I'm really happy I found this site!I ordered the Jap Coach over a month ago and still didn't get it and here I was able to play it after like 5 mins of waiting.Simply awesome!So much other helping soft as well like the Sonomama Jiten are available here its fantastic!

Before Japanese Coach comes out (soon - next month) this would be the only DS game that teaches hiragana / katakana and basic vocab. It's not bad - has writing / reading / word to image matching. There's lots of games that do Kanji, but we have to start somewhere, and Kanji's so hard. :|
