I love this game!

This game is alright. But I think there hae a really old version of this in ps2. And there's more things in here than fishing. Is good ^^

Omg, river king mystic valley is a really good game, it's a bit repetitive but it's still fun^^

This game is much more fun than I expected it to be. It's kind of a cross between a fishing game and a collecting game like Pokemon. Actually, it's a pretty good approximation to what I imagine it would be like if Nintendo took the fishing activity in Pokemon and made a complete game out of it. It's not just all about fishing, though. You also collect flowers and bugs from the surrounding shrubbery, you have an assortment of pet monsters that you need to feed and grow in order to use their special abilities to further yourself in the game (i.e. healing, rock breaking, etc.), and you encounter many NPCs as you traverse the Mystic Valley who will give you certain quests to accomplish along the way. Between accomplishing tasks, collecting all that there is to be collected, and finally tracking down the River King, a completist could easily put 35-40 hours of gameplay into this little RPG. Well worth your time if you don't mind the repetitive action. (4/5)
