This game is actually pretty good. As the title suggests, you control monkeys sent out into space by NASA to investigate a probe that got sucked into a wormhole.
Here's the gameplay:
Collecting gold coins and butterflies throughout the game is primary goal of each level. However, the first level you play you just collect gold coins in which you control the spaceship that was launched from Earth while evading asteroids at the same time. Make sure to avoid the asteroids so that you don't lose the 3 hearts that are given to you where each heart counts as a hit that you can take. After you collect the coins you can then use them to unlock special abilities and weapons to help you out as you progress through the game. You can also collect up to 3 bananas every level after the first one and you can use those at the shop too. Be careful as progress you through the levels as there are several bottomless where if you drop down into it you go back to the last checkpoint and lose all the coins you collected. You can recollect them, but it is annoying having to get to where you died to recover lost ground.
Graphics: In my opinion, the graphics to this game are actually quite nice. Even though it's a side scrolling platform game, there are some areas where the camera angle changes and it looks like you're traveling at an angle in a 3D kind of way. Since one of the game's companies was Act Imagine (same company who helped develop Metroid Prime Hunters) you can bet that the visuals of the game will be exceptionally good compared to a lot of other sub-par DS games.
Bottom Line: If you like Platform games or just looking for the next latest DS game to try out, this is one is definitely worth playing from the plethora of DS games out there.
