I also agree, this game is lack-luster at best. The entire game can be dashed through with little to no opposition from the braindead enemies, the only challenge in the games is the over-the-top boss fights, which at times almost feel either unfair or completely repetitive. The story is just long-winded and boring. If you want a good 2-D action game with ninjas just get muramasa on the wii, its excellent.
By the way: check out my game reviews on gamervision.com, just search my name
"This game is decent enough that I would play through it if it were free. Oh, wait, it is and I did play through it! What do you know?"
this makes me laugh. i love it when people argue over it like they're spending money. its......free! god.
this gaemes crap
like 8u just run at like this super spedd and u can teven control were ur going
also ... "the minus sign" ,what the fuck ? i see no signs...must be tripping
this game is fantastic...never played the original nor have i heard it before i played this.
It has the Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi feel to it. It is fast paced and not at all boring or simple. You have a ton of skills to upgrade plus you can combine the orbs to make the Ninjutsu skills you want.
How can a game like this bore somebody is beyond me.I would understand if that person wasnt fond of Ninja themed games. But because there is no sound in the dialogue ruins the game? I call for a "spoiled brat" detector,to filter out the hecklers.
well at the very least the fact that it feels like it lacks something give the guys at square a chance to improve the series.. that is if they intend to make a sequel or two... remember ff7 back in the old days and you'll see what i mean, back then if you compare it with what we have these days those insanely polygonal avatars were the best they could come up with ( you couldn't even appreciate Tifa's curves until you went into a battle or two) so for all the critical gamer's out there keep it up, coz one way or another someone out there is listening. ^^ rock on!!
I like the game. It has an old school feel but lightning fast action. You're not supposed to try to defeat every enemy. It's more about nailing as many as you can as you speed through the environment. Bosses are highly sequenced, which is a downer. Wouldn't recommend buying it, but it's worth a download.
People, Square Enix did not do the programming, or anything, the only role they have is that they are selling it, the real designer is Taito
Not in english
I dont like it
@all with the Square-Enix comment
Actually, Square-Enix is a publisher/developer company. They kind of publish games for other developers as well, especially on Japan. As far as I know they are publishing the new 007 game for Japan, making them the distributor. And that game is being developed by...I forgot, Activision? So technically they do not make games like this. On the other hand, I think I've read somewhere in their site that they have acquired partnership with TAITO, the creator of games such as Space Invaders and The Legend of Kage. But still, TAITO is a separate company. The developers of the game are TAITO and Lancarse(Wikipedia it if you like) and I think Square Enix is the publisher of TAITO games (Mostly remakes and improvements) outside of Japan.
FYI. Now curse me or anything.
Looking forward to play this.
AzNxSteve... It's noobs, not nubs
