Tactics Layer - Retainer Guard Senki Japan

Haha. This game is a hidden gem of joy. It takes quite a long Long LONG LONG LOOOOOOOONG chunk of storyline before anything resembling gameplay even exists. So I'm sure 90% of the non-japanese speaking community never even made it past the intro dialogue. The storyline is absurd. If you're into wacky fantasy manga/anime this is it. Starts off like a typical high school manga/anime story. The main character guy is inexplicably the object of fancy of all the main character girls around him. (Like Ichigo 100%, Love Hina, w/e.) One girl invites him to the roof to what he thinks is going to be a hot steamy makeout session and to profess her love to him. What she ends up professing/confessing to him is the fact that she's from this fantasy world along with all his other female friends from the school, and in this school they all have superpowers and then the combat turns into a Final Fantasy Tactics: A2 Clone. The only catch is, what determines the characters' stats is not armor, but this system which has a long name I can't remember at the moment but it becomes an acronym for "COSPLAY" which is what the game is all about. You get girls you can dress up in every different kind of style and mix and match outfits. Hats, necklaces, tops, hair, bottoms, shoes, etc. And there's an elaborate doll-dressup mode for when you're dressing them. The plot gets wackier and wackier, all the way to going to some kind of beauty paegant. The screenshots for the game on this site only show shots of the beauty paegant part so it's kind of misleading as to what kind of game this is. Again. It's a very particular taste, and it's almost a self-mocking Moe-style digital novel and turnbased srpg. But it had me laughing out loud a lot and it's definitely one of those I show to my non-japanese speaking friends often like "Check this game out... it's ridiculous."

not working well in EDGE 1.9, at first you can play it well but when you reach a certain event( which I forgot) the game freezes and the save file is deleted in the game...

I think it cant play coz it needs 2 be patched (i used LIPS) my kingdom hearts had the same prob.. after it was patched it worked perfectly fine..

Poor Strategy RPG/Digital Novel with some ecchi and boring battles; you can dress your girls in various clothes(nurse,schoolgirl,maiden) or make your own set.

R4 FW 1.18 can't play (Freeze at Logo Screen) But Can use YSMenu for normal play..

It seems R4 can't play this game

Wierd... it seem to get stuck on the begining when I use it on my R4 does anyone have the same problem?
