Battlestations USA

This takes me back... This game was a magnificent game for a two player battle. Pick your warship and go at it. The one player mode is relatively challenging and involves a sort of strategy - action gameplay and style. You are the admiral of a navy and have a series of objectives to complete in several naval campaign settings, you stage your strategy on a tactical map and set waypoints to your objectives. When you encounter enemy vessels you get the "Man your battle stations!" alert and enter into a 3D battle sequence. You can order battles to be one on one or send support units to have an all out war at sea! The battle system works in sort of a rock, paper, scissors format. The lighter, faster PT boats and cruisers are the bane of the larger Battleships and Aircraft Carriers, while while Destroyers and Mine Layers are devastated by the larger vessels, and Submarines and Mine Layers are good to take out the smaller boats (or something of a similar nature). It is like the board game "Battleship," in a tactical, 3D battle form. A great game with an excellent fun factor in an old school arcade-ish way.
