Superman Returns - Fortress of Solitude

Unlike most Superman-based video games, this one is actually pretty good. It's mostly a puzzle game, alternating the player through three types of levels. There are sudoku and matching levels that get a slight Superman twist by using various shapes and colors of crystals rather than numbers, and you have the ability to use "Superman powers" occasionally as a sort of hint/help system. The third level type is also pretty fun, though considerably different. These levels are styled in the fashion of a side-scrolling flying-shooter, in which you fly around the screen as Superman using heat vision to destroy blue enemies and freeze breath to destroy red enemies to collect enough of each crystal type to defeat a classic Superman villian, such as Brainiac, Metallo, and Mr. Mxyzptlk. Overall, the game may not feel terribly connected to Superman, but in my personal opinion, and as history has shown, that is probably a good thing.
