Is this game really this boring?
This game is extremly boring, I only "played" the game in boss battles and conversations, otherwise I was just kinda staring at the screen thinking "wtf". Basic battles are so easy you can just leave it up to the auto battle, and then boss fights are so hard it is often impossible to keep the whole party alive till the end. I found I compared it to golden sun for the GBA, if Golden Sun was your kinda game you might like this, otherwise you should prolly download something else.
Boring??
Acording to the comments it is boring and stupid in every way right?
Add to that the crap graphic sprites you get on battles, and this would totally means that the game sucks.
The game's pretty hard, we got it and beat it with a thing called an "action replay"! But it took an hourlike! Even with a cheat that gives each person max helath, max mp, and max anything! Cool huh?
As a fan of the Lunar series I had to have this game. Unfortunately, this game is surprisingly bad. Lunar - Dragon Song plays like any other RPG. Rather than having Random battles, your character has to engage monster sprites to initiate a battle. Here is where the game deviates from a traditional RPG. Unlike almost every RPG in existence, Lunar - Dragon song does not allow you to pick the enemy you wish to attack, which basically turns battling into a Chore. Coupled with the fact that you have two modes, one allows you to obtain items and one allows you two obtain XP (but not both), you have a completely aggravating playing experience. Many games these days feature ways to speed up the game, but you know when a game has boring combat when they include the feature built right into battles! Most battles will be played with "Auto" turned on. Battles aren't very challenging, but to make up for it, enemies get progressively stronger as you level up. Not much stronger, but stronger none-the-less. You could seriously be level 100 and probably have trouble with the first boss in the game. Also, no enemies drop money. To earn money you have to do boring, tedious jobs that are pointless Time sinks. You'll be doing these a lot, sorry to say because you'll be buying gear.. A lot, especially the same gear.. Over and over. Why? because almost every enemy in the game can break your gear! As you progress further into the game, prepare to be making many trips back and forth to buy new gear because your gear broke half-way through the dungeon. Oh, and those enemies respawn once you make your way to and from a dungeon! Lunar - Dragon song could've been great, like all the other games in the series, but this game is one of the worst RPGs you will ever play. Even the store is uninspiring, following along the same story line as the other 2. (Boy just so happens to be best friends and love interest of the goddess *sigh*) There's A LOT of spelling and grammar mistakes in this game too, so you may end up having no idea what the conversation is that's going on. Also, some conversations simply don't make sense like NPCs talking to a person not even in your party yet, or some NPCs making references to characters you haven't even met yet. If you're a fan of the Lunar series you may force yourself to see past the flaws ( there's many of them ), but don't be prepared to be "wowed" or anything.
It's not that good. It looks good, but that's about it...
Is this good???? no one seems. to know
