Great game. Runs great except sometimes the framerate slows.
if you're not sure whether to get this or not, DO! its completely worth it. personally, i think it is one of the best First Person Shooters on the DS and is definately my favorite DS game. wifi and multiplayer (multicard or download) are fantastic, and you can even set yourself up against 3 bots (you can choose each's difficulty) if no one else can play. Metroid Prime:Hunters is obnoxiously fun and will keep your attention for quite a while. GUARANTEED
MPH 1.1 means " metroid prime hunters version 1.1 "
what do you mean by mph1.1 ?
Here comes Metroid on the DS. I expected this, and every saw this when the demo was released with the DS system. It's a first person shooter, not a side scroller like the totally awesome Super Metroid. That said, I'm going to start with the good things about this game. The game's graphics was I noticed when I first played in this game. They are AWESOME!! They will blow you away, just like Moon did, although I don't know if Moon's or Metroid's graphics are better. But this game amazed me more than Moon. Like I said, it's a first person shooter, which means you aim with the stylus, move with the D-Pad, and fire with the L Button. These controls apply IF YOU ARE RIGHT HANDED, like me. You can still change the controls if you are left handed. These controls worked pretty well. Next is the multiplayer, supporting multi card play, DS download play, and WI-FI play. Multiplayer is great. If you are doing a two player multiplayer, you add computer controlled players to act as the third and fourth player. This is feature that every DS shooter should have, because it's a lot more fun to play with 4 people than 2. DS Download Play is DS Download Play multiplayer. A great feature. Now it's WI-FI, which is what you want to play the most, because it is so DARN FUN!!!!!!! Although it's a bit hard to hit others in multiplayer because they are running and jumping CONSTANTLY, multiplayer will keep you amused. Now the cons. My biggest complaint about this game is the fact that your hand will cramp really fast when playing. My hand hurts when repeatably pressing the fire button. There are very few weapons that act as automatic guns. This means that you'll be pressing the fire button a lot rather than holding the button down for a satisfying endless stream of lasers. Metroid Prime Hunters' story is something I don't really get that well. I'll just tell you it involves Samus Aran and some other bounty hunters. Metroid Prime Hunters may not be on par with the Metroid Primes on the consoles, but it's one of the first and greatest first person shooter on the DS. My Verdict -Gameplay: 8 out of 10 (lowered because of cramping hands) -Presentation: 9.2 out of 10 -Storyline: 7.5 out of 10 -Multiplayer: 9.2 out of 10 -Replayability: 8.4 out of 10 This game gets a very good score of 9.1 out of 10. It's the graphics and multiplayer that makes you want to play more.
yes this game has wifi support
I found this game horribly boring. If you're a Metroid fan, go for it. But if you're not a Metroid fan but is looking for a fun FPS, look elsewhere.
if you liked this game then I suggest to download all the COD versions for the DS
imo one of the best fps on ds, would be awesome to play with your mates too.
i love nintendo and this game but multiplayer is alright to many people use cheats
Pretty good...I guess. As a dedicated metroid fan though, It sucks. The game really doesn't have that "Metroid" feel at all, I mean, Since when does Samus use a sniper? WTF? Pretty bad from a Metroid perspective, but really good from a shooter perspective.
is this the version where you get the cheats with
