lillmissfrost: You don't. R4(i) gold is a clone produced by a different team, not the original R4 team, who have been out of business since long before the DSi. The original R4 team only produced one cart, all other R4 carts are clones produced by other people/teams.

I thought the game sucked when I first started the game bcuz of the controls. But once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty good SF game. Has multiple endings and the combat is similar to SF64's all-range.

worse game ever i played on the ds. Doesnt live up to the N64 version. Bad graphics. Weird Controls. sorta remindz me of the snes version

For those who say "don't work on r4" I'm cunfused it works for me and I have an R4 v1.18 kernal (it's the latest and saddly last update I know about) What doesnt work about it?

Star Fox Command is a different kind of Star Fox, mostly because it's the first Star Fox for the DS. When I first played this game, controls took some time getting used to. This game is almost all touch screen. You steer with the touch screen and fire with the Directional Pad. Also, this game can be quite repetitive. Draw paths, shoot enemies, blow up mother ship, repeat cycle. There are parts of the game that you must chase down and blow up missiles, which can be hard but is very fun. Multiplayer is good too, but not as good as I thought. Everyone has the same ship, which is kind of disappointing, but not much. This game supports the DS-Download service, which is great! Wi-Fi is fun, but is basically like local multiplayer, except you're playing worldwide. Star Fox Command can get some getting used to, but is one of my favorite DS shooters. DO A BARREL ROLL!"Peppy the Hare"

Man what a rip off, controls suck, turn based parts suck even worse

Yeah this game is a lot of fun (except it uses the gibberish talking. But they give you the option to customize it). I bought this game and Wifi used to be great but for some reason I can never connect to WiFi in this game or Mario Kart DS (which I also bought) in both the rom and original.

Don't know what all you people are complaining about -- the controls are the smoothest I've ever seen in a DS game. o_0
