Atlus has always been a company that, for better or for worse, releases fresh and different RPG titles. Contact is one such game, and fortunately for gamers, it falls into the better category.
Whats with all the atlus hate? They publish a wide variety of games, most of them I've enjoyed. Downloading this one now.
I just got a white screen someone help me
I love this game been wanting to play it for a while but can't find where I've put the game. Was jumping with joy when I found it on this cool site thanks..
Be warned when playing this game you'll get hooked in no time at all. Shame the intro is a bit to long but still an amazing game. Don't let the poor graghics stop you having fun with this little gem.
@ seventhsage
I think you mean fourth wall?
This is actually a very good game. I borrowed it from a friend and beat it three times over. There is one secret clothing you can find that is very epic. But I'll leave you all to go to google to find out how to get it.
Games really good, certainly different, but the guy up top who said all atlus games suck, first shin megami tensei, second disgaea, both of which have spawned an anime. The controls are both touch screen and buttons so you can pick your poison, the graphics are good, for the ds, and the plot is interesting, my only hang up is in egypt when you are looking for the pieces of that statue or what ever, and the only place I haven't looked is in this pyramid that I need to buy the deed for and the deed is like ten thousand gold.
This is an awesome game. Got every suit except for one. Gets REALLY boring after you finished it though, I removed it.
Atlus' range of games didn't compel me into buying or downloading the game, since there are many 'winners' and also a few 'losers' in a lot of peoples' books. But after a talk with the employee at a gaming store today, I thought I'd give it a try, since the whole game seems to already speak 'different' and the employee was eager for me to try it out.
Hope this will be good. I believe in Atlus, despite it having a few 'downhill' games, but SMT was definitely a masterpiece in my book. Something less serious and 'different' also seems intriguing... can't wait to try it out.
This game like others said has a resemblance to Earthbound ... i loved earthbound so this in my opinion is good. Atlus is known for making ps2 games that are more epic their NDS arent so good but this game does justice in its own way.
good post wizzoh.
Atlus' other titles aside; this game is a wonder. Bought it around the time of it's release, it takes what is quickly becoming a trite niche in games, the venerable RPG, and breaths some new life into it with irreverence. The story isn't contrived as some moral epic based on the last 70 installments of a stale series, it isn't falsely represented. The game is itself.
It does have many good features about it as far as RPGs are concerned, a variety of skills, items, etc, it contains the ability to cook and simply play with the game itself.
The lack of seriousness, and the broad spectrum of elements brought into the game make it a masterpiece, and not one to pass up on (Particularly when "Free").
