Wow, people asking for support.
Anyways, the game has a terrible soundtrack, one of the worst in any game released by Nintendo, mostly due to the fact that Koji Kondo had little impact on the music of the game. I'll eventually be posting a patch on the forums with the SNES music, but for now you'll have to deal with what it is.
The game is fairly difficult, though it seems a bit overly complex compared to YI1.
would you say a 6 year old boy would like this game or is it too hard? He likes New Super Mario Bros...
Omg! you're right natasha jeggo he is such a cute dino!!!!!!! He is my favorite character of the mario series. Oh, my bad, on to my real problem..................whenever i start yoshi's island it goes through the intro video perfectly but after that the emulator stops working and says something like "sorry, no$gba needs a copy of GBA BIOS to work functionly" or something like that. What is BIOS? Can somebody help me fix it? Because I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS SO BAD! As i said before yoshi is my all-time favorite mario character and i would be crushed if i never get to play this. So can somebody please help me? Thanks! :)

had it for the GBA and to be honest it is the best platformer i have played to this day and I have played all the mario games as I have the handheld ports and I have the Kirby games. The only mario game i didn't have was super mario Bros 2 which i got from the virtual console. But honestly the GBA version was incredible and this is just as good.

hi thanks for the download. but i can't seem to play it.
evry time i start an adventure it goes through the video but when the actual level is about to start it come up with an error message saying
'unable to write data. please turn the power off and reinsert the game card'
can you tell me how to fix it so i can play it properly, thanks
this is definitely not an exact port, this is a whole different game from the snes/gba version and MAN is it DIFFICULT! some of these stages are a NIGHTMARE, especially if you're trying to score 100 on each level.
definitely worth it!
