Apart from the genre, I would say that ace attorney and hotel dusk are very different games. I personally enjoyed phoenix wright more but that's not to say that hotel dusk is a bad game. Au contraire, I enjoyed it very much. Its much darker in mood, and more like a good mystery novel. If I were you, I would definitely give this game a shot. And if you dont like it, the only thing you've wasted is time.

A decent game, but theres very little interaction and lots and lots of reading. If youre the kind of person who wants to read a good mystery book with a little bit of playability than this one is for you. I found the puzzles, while few and far in-between, to be on the easy side. Good, but not good enough to merit a sequel.

Can't wait to play it.

Awosome game actually gets better when further in story but can get really stuck at parts. Was there a sequel

This game was awesome! the beginning was a bit dull but afterwards you really get into it!

One of the best mystery stories I've read or heard. Obviously that means I haven't read enough of them and am now wishing to delve in the mystery genre of both games and writing.

I'm weird. I love reading fantasy/sci-fi with a bit of romance/suspense, but not total mystery or romance novels. I also like intense, action-y games like Metroid and Halo. Would you recommend this game to me? I think I might get bored after a while...

I loved this game, although the start was slow, but then when I progressed, I was hooked! I completed this in 3 days, because I couldn't put it down! Unfortunately, I couldn't get the surprise at the end for the guy with the spinning daughter, because I got a few Game Overs, but I didn't want to try again because it is true, you can't play the game again as it takes away the suspense and thinking etc. Plus I also loved the way the game was set out, like the characters were hand-drawn and so on. 10/10!
