This is one of the BEST Picross games available. Not just on DS, but anywhere. I love the "themed" boards, like the music set that actually plays a song as you tick the squares. Very inventive and pleasing to the eye - and something missing from all other Picross/Nonogram puzzle games I've ever played. My only wish is that Nintendo would release a version of this for PC! LOL - Not gonna happen, I know, but I really do wish I could play this on a bigger screen that isn't segmented in parts for the larger puzzles. I feel that's the only way this Picross game suffers compared to other picross-style games - the size of the board/screen itself.
I think this game is quite hard but it is very fun.
Personally i preffer this version to the 3d one it's a lot less confusing than the 3D one. I blame the internet for the addiction to this game
Anyone know how to make this work on desmume? I just keep getting white screens and nothing happens...
Fantastic game - really makes you think!
This game is great, but I think 3D Picross is better!
I downloaded a demo for it from the wii and I'm hungry for more :) SO glad I've found it on here :)
This is the most addictive game I have ever played. It is also my favorite DS game of all time. This is a great way to wind down at night before bed, but warning, it is also a great way to accidently stay awake way way past your bedtime.
IMO this is the best puzzle game on the DS. Fiercely addictive and hugely challenging on the later levels. Excellent use of the stylus. These are the sort of games the DS excel at.
Here is an example of how Picross works if you have no idea: http://www.picross.org/en/play.html You can also find it in paper book form. Basically the puzzle will always be a picture. =) This is the first DS game I bought because I knew I enjoyed it from the paper versions.
Excellent Game! However it gets EXTREMELY hard after a few levelsO.o
I havent played it, but in Math class in the last day of school our teacher gave us a puzzle in a piece of paper hat was pretty much the same thing, and I liked it!
