hey pizzaman06, I did the same thing, buying it before I got the r4. Now for everyone, I would just like to say that this game is one of my top ten hate list. Personally, I think that the game is way too hard when you are in temples and stuff. For example, this game expects you to close your ds at one time. I was stuck on this part until I got help from some friend in my school. However, it is a great game for those critical thinking skills people who like crazy challenges. Once you're in a temple, it is really hard to take your eyes of the ds. My rating-3/10 sorry, i just don't like the game. . .

Let me get this straight. I bought this game before I learned about the R4. This was the first Zelda game on the DS and my also my very first Zelda game, and I am very satisfied. The Legend of Zelda is not my favorite, but it's a great series everyone should play once in their lives. This game takes place after the game The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker, which was also a hit. It features a tooned up version of the hero Link. Actually you don't have to name your character Link, but I did. This game both contains a great story line and humor, which is what I love. It involves the pirate captain Tetra (a she) whisked away by the infamous Ghost Ship, known to take away anyone and they will never return. The hero, in my case Link, goes on a quest to find her. There's a lot more to the story, but I'm not going to spoil it. one of the biggest features of this game is the new controls. This game is 98% touch screen. Players may have difficulty, but they will soon catch on with these controls. Swinging with your sword is done by etching a line across the touch screen. This a very good idea and works perfectly! You get items like the boomerang and the bomb bag. The boomerang is thrown by drawing your path on the touch screen, then releasing the stylus to let the boomerang soar. The music and sound repeats a lot in the game. A bunch of different islands have the same music theme to them. They're great music pieces, but it's kind of repetitive. This is the second Zelda game to have sea travel. Sea travel is fun and you must always stay focused on the game because you never know when an obstacle or enemy will appear. This game supports multiplayer: single card play, multi card play, and Wi-Fi. The object of the game is to collect objects called force gems and throw them in a glowing area, called a sfe zone. Two safe zones on the field are blue and red. These are the bases and where you throw the force gems in to score points. The other player tries to stop the force gem hunter from scoring points by hunting him/her down with three soldiers called phantoms. While multiplayer is fun, i wish you do more than just pick up force gems or draw paths for phantoms. There are not a lot of options for multiplayer, but it can keep you amused for some time. The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass is a MUST have for your DS game library. If you do not download this, your DS collection will never be complete. 9.2 OUT OF 10

help downloaded this twice now and both times its in spanish this is the first time had this happen with any and there's no forum specifically for it. i love zelda.

lol finalmario awgh as in the memories when i got like my first zelda game = the one then my other one is ocerina of time which scared me as a kid then i got wind waker or something and passed that then i got heaps of other zelda games and yea i had it on my DS but i dont understand you guys do you play this on a emulator i broke my DS so i dont play R4 anymore i just play on computer roms so yea.. some guy said R4 but Ya but if you readed this im sorry its just a complete waste of like 3 minutes of your life or 1 if your a good reader and the guy who made a bigger story then this haha so much words you freaking werido

i swear this is the world's best ds game, has anyone found dee ess island, i cracked up when i found it...lol! you do not have the right to own a ds if you dont have this game! it's actually one of the only games i've ever finished!

I had this game when it first came out. And Yeah It is a fail on the emulator cause u need to blow on the screen scream into the mike and stuff. But if u have real ds it's fun! 10/10!!!

i cant get cannon island :( i need a cannon but bombs explode fast :(
