Wow , this game, as it has been said before is very simillar to pokemon. I don't mind the game at all, but I am so annoyed at people arguing over it, saying that because you can let your monsterhave a terrible AI which is ineffective, it means that it is very good when you can control your monster that it is so much better than pokemon, because of that. And also I dislike the graphics. But overall, it is a good game, just I dislike the people saying it is better because of the reasons stated above.

will there be anymore of this kind of games??? i like all the dragon quest series but i love this MOST because you can 'scout' the monster and make it evolve which is the best part!

@jonasen Next time before you post check your facts. Dragon Quest Monsters 1 was released over 2 years after Red and Green version of pokemon and Dragon Quest Monsters 2 was released 5 years after Red and Green. How the hell could you think a game made for gameboy color could have been made before a game for the original gameboy?

this game was amazing before the online cheaters. im going to try it out again and see if it's any better. my top rank was #6 in the U.S. =3

i used to play its predecessors on GBA and loved it. hope this one is good.
