G6 Users (Aon), there is an update for the G6 firmware here: http://down.gbalpha.com/GBa lpha/Softwares/G6&M3DS-R_E18.zip I downloaded and installed it and FF:ROF is working fine for me now. Have fun!

I tried sending an e-mail to the R4 site citing this problem but I haven't got any replies though. I hope they are doing something right now to fix the issues.

10sack writes I played the japanese version and it was awsome. i tried this version and all i got was the white screen. ive been waiting for this game to come out in english ever since i saw the trailer for it on gametrailers. which was almost a year ago! im guessing its my M3 simply or my DS. ever since i dropped my DS my flashcart hasnt been loading properly. lol i got the same problem, but the white screen is now gone thanks to that firmware, if you want it, there is a site with special R4 downloading, maybe it also works for M3, i hope so... i also tried the way Lukov mentioned, the way using dslazy, but its the same problem as the rest mentioned, that thanks for playing there is something fishy about it, 128 mb for a game of 5-10 minutes?! I dont think so...

Well.. If this doesn't work by tmr, i will get the original one. It's all fair actually.. SE made this game so that we can buy it, not pirate it. I think we shouldn't complain so much because we do not want to pay for the game and yet want to play it. No offence to anyone here.

Hey lukav, did you already had that new version on that system of yours? im using a r4 and the only thing i get is a blank screen! and by the way, i dont know anything about that dslazy your talking about, so please give some detailed info?

I tried unpacking the Japanese and US versions using dslazy, and looking at the files, they are all identical, no new ones, or none missing, just different sizes. I took the files from the US version and placed them into the japanese version, booted it up, and it all seems to be working. I haven't played far into it, as I've got to go out now, so if anyone wants to try what I did, and test it past the 20 - 30 minute timer thing, go for it. I took all of the files in data and overlay, and left the files in the root of the UNPACK folder there.

What does that have to do with anything I just said? Oh, yeah. It must not work. Well you see M3 simply and R4 aren't clean. They still patch on the go. Basically what I'm trying to say is that if your flashcart needs to patch the ROM in any way you're screwed.

Uhhh Relys the M3 and R4 are slot 1 devices...

The game simply has a way of finding out if it was patched for use with a flashcart. Slot 1 carts don't need to patch at all, because they don't have to tell the NDS to save the save game file to Slot 2. All one would have to do is open up the ROM and delete/sabotage the protection so that flashcarts that require changes for the ROM to work on Slot 2 cards wouldn't be detected. This game plays like Secret of Mana or Legend of Zelda right?
