Everyones basicly trying to say its bril but if you don't like puzzle games don't download it!! (it is good but easy)!!!

Myst was one of the first PC games I played and it was awesome. I never ended up getting Riven or any of the others except for Uru-Ages Beyond Myst which was also pretty good.

I'm not sure what exactly "total ownage" is. I'm assuming that's code for "much better". (nowadays, everyone has to throw the word "own" out there, when it has no relevance). Anyway, the computer version IS much better. The small screen on the ds cannot accurately depict the nature of myst, which is a graphics-driven game. Yes, Riven was multiple cd-roms when it came out. The original Myst AND Riven were both really great games on pc.

most young people wont like this game, old patrons and the nostalgics that love old games will like this, never played it on comp only ds.

A lot of glitches in the ds version, like the original pc version a lot better

mariusrhpsd: You're thinking of Rivin, which was 5 CDs. The nice looking, free moving Myst was realMyst, and it was still only 1 CD.

I think its on the pc better than on the ds but both are sucking

Actually, myst was originally in 1 cd, adterwards they took out a 5 cd version wich contained more animations and, i think, you couls travel freely around the island, without being prisioner of the "scenarios"

Myst is one of my favorite game series ever, but it is better on the PC. Try getting RelMyst for the PC. MUCH better.

Hmm, when I saw that Myst was on the DS I was pretty excited. It only took two seconds for me to think about it and remember that all Myst's charm came from the graphics (Which were pretty goddamn amazing for it's time). I got "Riven: The Sequel to Myst" when I got my first computer which was back when I was around 4 or 5 and I didn't give a shit about the gameplay, I just liked watching pictures move on my screen. Unfortunately, that's as far as Myst goes for me, moving pictures, which the DS has managed to ruin. The puzzle are long and boring and usually you just end moving from screen to screen tapping everything hoping to get a response, and as it has no stunning graphics to fall back on it misses the mark by far. Only people wishing to see a classic butchered, or to be bored out of their minds (Yes, it will even bore those who are into puzzle games)should get this game.

Myst is a game that is ONLY a game for people who like to puzzle en like-things.. If you`re wanna have a GOOD game for the PC.. then you must look for Broken Sword..
