Oh My God! It's DOCTOR WHO!!!
Holy crap... This games Amazing!!! I've completed it too many times... maybe i should stop playing it... I see swirling time vortexes and stuff all the time now... um... yeah. 10/10 because it rocks... aarggh...
Don't work. i play it and it just has a white screen. any help???
Uhh... did you say 2 hours? wow.
Yeah I don't like Yugio or any of that crap but the top trumps games have all been fun, especially for multi.
Top trumps??
well, i wondered what the game would be like. i've never played any of the 3 top trumps ROMs that romulation has. had no idea what to expect.
so i downloaded it, and gave it a whirl!
at first, its immediately cute with its doctor who themes and music. it takes a bit of time to understand what is going on with this game. (later i would realise that there is a readily available 'help' button you can select at the starting menu which explains a hell of alot). but i guess its a standard turn based card game. you have 5 categories that you play again a CPU player or anyone else on multiplayer or DS wireless link. the idea is to collect as many of your opponents cards by chosing the catergory which you think will have a higher rating.
if you are very familiar with this style of gameplay, then i'm boring you.
it was new to me, and i must say it got addicting quickly. the adventure mode will last you about two hours to get through. the idea being that you want to unlock as many of the power-ups and character cards as possible. it is fun i must admit, especially since you are playing the DS on its side (in book mode) like ninja gaiden.
its a good distraction and you will finish the adventure mode quickly. it has replay value if you love this style of game. or if you love the doctor who genre.
it was nice little game, and i recommend it either way.
ps.. why is that doctor who theme music so addicting to listen to anyways?? hahaha
