I too was having issues with this ROM on my R4. Then I tried using the Hello.sav file from the suggestion above, and it worked! Thanks.

This Hello.sav works on my TT DS. Just make sure the save file is renamed exactly as the US - DiPLODOCUS nds file and TA-DA!
