I find it a pretty amusing game, but mayby because it reminds me of star wars battlefront. so i have a challange for hackers: is there a way to turn the game to a bit more 'futuristic' style? and how about a other view. should be cool right?

This isn't as bad a game as it could have been e.g. making it a really dodgy shooter along the lines of Goldeneye DS, but it still could have been a better game for example, better graphics for this point in the DS's lifespan and the Ai didn't have a habit of walking into walls making you the only intelligent soldier on the entire battlefield. But the gameplay is deep enough for someone just above casual play and straight after playing the tutorial, you will have learnt the controls as they are really easy to learn but i can't say they were difficult to master because they aren't. The lifespan isn't too bad as the battles can end up taking a good 20+ minutes and there is a random battle feature if you can't decide BUT there is absolutely no Wi-Fi multiplayer, i am excluding the local multiplayer because i don't count that as Wi-Fi so you don't have to flame me down for it, so no beating up japanese people online (unless you go to japan and find someone who owns the game and wants to play online with you). I'd give the game a 6.5/10 because it's in that sort of middle range. Had the game been released for DS, it could have been really great but in comparison to some of the great games out recently it just doesn't fit in with their high quality.

If the graphics don't suck If the level is bigger If the AIs don't suck This could be an enjoyable game. This kind of game is not suitable for DS IMO. Look on the bright side: -Control is good -Music is OK -Gameplay needs a little more depth but quite enjoyable

The movement isnt slow when you have enough yellow things (they increase your speed) playing as a warrior isnt nearly as fun as being a mage or archers. i wish they had more classes. its worth playing........ for about 3-5 hrs 8/10

Well, yes, it's quite limited... i was waiting a lot better also... but then again, what really gets me off my nerves is that it's a LOTR game, because if it was anything else, i wouldn't mind... i'll try playing it more, i like it though it wasn't really what i expected... :o)

Very limited considering what they COULD have done - I mean, this is the vast world of LotR for crying out loud, and you pick a "warrior, archer or mage"? Fail. Boring graphics, slooooow movement, frustrating controls. It's a real shame because I was really looking forward to playing a LotR game on the DS, and this is what we get? Lame.

I'm gonna try it also... i mean, i love LOTR, so i have to... if i don't like it as much as other games from the universe, well, it's not a big problem anyway... tell you later about it... ;o)

Someone said their screen is already scratched enough...serious? That's what protectors are for? I'm gonna try to game...LOTR Fan, have to :)
