Valkyrie Profile - Covenant of the Plume USA

To get the good ending you have to sacrifice your team mates to use a special attack? that was weird.....

Just to clear things up. Tri-Ace is the developer and the creator of this game plus all the other Valkyrie Profile games. Since Tri-Ace is not as big as Square-Enix, Square-Enix help publish tri-ace games, such as the Valkyrie Profile series, Star Ocean series and some other less popular game.

This game is literally a more mature version of: Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (for DS). it has a unique battle system in which you "Overkill" your enemies. I give this game a solid 9 out of 10... great game, plus its square enix. how can you go wrong with Square Enix?

varnasmt: Actually, that is incorrect. Publishers have a LOT of control over content and how it is made. They can tell the developers they want something in the game, or they dont want something in the game, and the developer has to comply or find another publisher. Major bugs in games are more often than not due to the developer having to meet inflexible deadlines set by the publisher. also, Square Enix developed The Last Remnant, so they dont only develop Final Fantasy ;)

Ok, time to clear a few things up for some of you. The only Dragon Quest game that Square Enix have developed is; Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime All main Dragon Quest games, (for ds) was developed by ArtesPiazzea. Square Enix has nothing to do with the mainstream title they only Publish the game, they have no say with how it is made or what content it has. The same thing goes for the majority of "their games" the only title that they really develop on their own is Final Fantasy, all other titles that have their name on it they do nothing more than publish/localize. They have nothing to with developing/creating content for the games.

For those of you who haven't been blessed with playing any of the Valkyrie Profile games yet, i honestly don't think you should start on this game because you might get confused on a lot of the dialogue and what exactly is going on. My suggestion is to start with Lenneth for the psp of is you can get the emulated version for the playstation it's the same game and it's amazing

Great game so far! The premise and battle tactics are delightfully evil. Give an ally incredible power, only for them to die at the end of battle. I'd say its a role playing/tactics game with a little bit of interaction during attack animation.

This game is made by Square Enix. That means...... IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The combat system is pretty good, and the storyline has that Square Enix feel A must downlaod for all gamers. P.S> I actually bought the game to support Squre Enix
