I love Pokemon Platinum

There are various, blatant flaws that are covered up solely by the franchise name, such as the primitive grid-based movement, grainy and pixelated graphics caused by a half-assed 3D implement and the massively repetitive story (the fact that this is a remake doesn't help this). Hero lives with his/her mom, starts an adventure by getting a fire, water or grass type monster from a scientist, who then enlists him/her and rival/friend to catch one of each kinds of Pokémon, a rather herculean task for a kid. Hero must get 8 badges from Pokémon battle gym leaders then defeat the world champions, all while dismantling a terrorist organization. Now tell me this isn't repetitive­. Having access to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection network breaks the game as well, as the cheating community is humongously large for this game­. Pokémon Platinum Version is fun when you have nothing to do, are a Pokémon nerd, or are 7 years old, but it is titanically overrated.

Look on your emulator by the word controls and there you can choose how to set your controls. Anyways, 2 years ago (or something) I had Pokemon Pearl, I bought it from my own money and I don't like spending much so I was critizised (?) but I loved the game, I was playing it over and over again and it just didn't get me bored, now I'm "retired" liking the games THAT much, but they're still great. I thought like: This game is almost perfect in any critizism I tried Pokemon Platinum out a while ago and someone who knows Pokemon Pearl/Diamond quite well can easily see a lot of differences. xmasterchefx: I just hate how Nintendo can rehash a game everyone has bought before and barely add any new content, and have everyone buy it again. Pokemon is a prime example of a successfully milked cash cow, and it's ridiculous how so many people buy it

How do i play it? i cant get past the part with the guy standing there saying if you need of advise, I'm certinly capable of giving it. i dunno how to scroll down... i use No$gba emulator... please tell haha

This game is fun and i suggest this for people for any age :) this game is like all the other pokemon games, but it has a new name and new pokemons.

Wow this version is great. Much better than the ones on GBA. Like emerald or ruby. The graphics are great compared to the others. Even the pokemon are better. It's rated one of the best games on Nintendo DS and is worth the download.

This is just Pokemon Diamond / Pearl, edited slightly, and updated, such as fixed a few glitches. Pretty good, I think I might download it from here even though I already bought it from a store, so I can get a few cheats or something, I feel too lazy to update my Action Replay. Heh.

yes. it is like pokemon diamond and pearl. i game is the best. cant wait in till pokemon heart gold and soul sliver come out. to bad they come out in 2010 :( but they said it brings all the pokemon games together. not the team games and not the explorer games

While I hate the new pokemon ever since after the Johto series, I still love this game. It's taking Pokemon to the next level in a gameplay that's both nostalgic and new. I remember Pokemon from the old days, back when it was on KidsWB, and Platinum version is a far cry from red and blue. Very fun, although if you aren't exactly used to the new Pokemon, it will get confusing. Nevertheless, I love this game even though I have yet to even play halfway through it. Honestly, it's a must-try game even if you don't like the nwe Pokemon or Pokemon at all. The gameplay is unique and there IS a reason why the Pokemon game series are usually in the top rated.

good game if you have played Pokemon diamond and pearl then you wont be really excited about the different things in platinum WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the things that are changed are: the gts now known as something else looks totally different more fire Pokemon are in the game the hero's look different graphics are better but not by much and i think the gym leaders are changed. good game i suggest u download it and then buy the real copy at the store. can anyone tell me if this got viruses and shit in it?
