Why isn't there any cheats for it? is it because it's still new? cuz i wanna download the one with the cheats xD just like Diamond/Pearl :P

For the R4 1.18 people having trouble, either try backing up/reformating your card, or maybe getting a different micro SD card some don't transfer data fast enough. I'm using a SanDisk 2gb micro SD on my R4 no problems yet.

I use EDGE, but since i just downloaded the game i'm not pretty sure if there are ready cheats available. but it really doesn't matter. i've been playing pokemon since i was 12 and practically completed almost all of the CANON titles.(by canon i mean i never played the bootlegged ones.) and by the looks of it it is a really promising game that i might not put away for awhile. let's see what happens....

Only got 4badges so far but there are more rival battles, and the gyms changed abit too

So for everyone, including myself, who gets stuck at the loading on r4 or m3 after you play once and then restart, i noticed that the \_ds\_menu.dat file on the r4 root gets corrupted after you play platinum and you have to reinstall the firmware. I opened the file before and after playing pokemon in notepad and it was completely changed to what appears to be gibberish.

Great game, same as other two with extra features, battles are still extremely slow even with scenes turn off. Does anyone know how to make battling quicker?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! If only the folks at serebii.net knew about this!! Anyway, it seems to be a pretty good pokemon game. My Favorite change so far is the fact that both front and back sprites are animated at the beginning of every battle. As I keep playing, though, I'm sure I'll see better changes (such as the Battle Island I've heard so much about.)

Have anyone noticed that the always make 2 pokemon games and then a 3rd with additional content? (I mean yellow, crystal, emerald and now platinum) red - blue - yellow gold - silver- crystal ruby - shaphire - emerald pearl - diamond - platinum
