Clofaro, maybe you accidently turned the hints off in the preference panel?
It's really a fantastic game! I like to get more of those, any recommendations?
More BS games? or Adventure games? I'll name a few DS Adventure games you'd like: Hotel dusk, time hollow, phoenix wright 1-3, apollo justice.

This game is pretty fun. I beat the other verison almost exactly like this one for the Gameboy Advance a few years ago except this time, it's WAY funnier and I catch myself giggling at my DS during certain scenes. I'm only at the scene where Nicole is talking to the guy boarding up the window and I had to make a comment on how much I was laughing at it.
Nicole: "I need to take some more pictures."
Old Guy: "Of course. My Pleasure. Give me a moment."
*He turns around and starts fixing his hair repeatedly*
I also like the little comments that he gives you when you ask him about the items that you're carrying.
Anyway, this game is WAAAAAAAAY better than the Gameboy Advance version and you won't be upset with it if you enjoy point and click games as much as I do. :D
Im stuck in ireland..... anyone got any hints... the blue question mark for the hints has disappeared...
I played this when i was little and it is such a awsome game (the later ones are not as good but still can't knock it) I am tempted to get it for this but it has also come out for the Wii I think so I am gonna play it on DS then Wii.
Does it work on R4??
I'm reading mostly negative comments from folks familar with past versions (PC,
PS1) for lack of voice acting and the hint system, but for the uninitiated (ME)
i think its a fantastic adventure/puzzle game. If you have any kind of passing
interest in either genre, I think you'll really enjoy it. The absence of voice
acting didn't bother me a bit, as the dialogue is sharp and surprisingly witty.
Reason 1001 to love the DS. :-)
And it works just fine on R4 1.18
Got pretty far into it now. Highly dissapointed at the lack of voices, VERY dissapointed at the hint system (On the original, I had no choice but to sit and think about a puzzle, but now....I click on the question mark to stop myself getting bored...), the mechanic for moving is well, lets say shabby (PSX PC was perfect, nice large screen, everything in one room virtually fit onto it, there was no moving 3 or maybe 4 times to get to wall to wall, and it seemed more fluid.) Yes, I know what you will say.Its a DS, its a small screen....My answer to that is, why ruin something which was already good? Atm, I'm drudging through this port. I will finish it, but once its done Im going back to my psx for it.
If you are stuck, use the hints (?) in top right hand corner, keep trying to solve the puzzle, this will give you more hints.
Whooo! thanks alot onemiddle!! =D
great game!!
Ah what a shame no voices, that was the main appeal of those pointy games back then, same with beneath a steel sky and simon the sorcerer, it's half the fun without the voices! oh well i guess im gonna stick with the PS1 version on PSP then! :)
= J = Y and = X . it read pierre. full report to follow, but this is too urgent to wait. arno and amada both dead. this is not a coincidence. indeed it seems that all of us who came together in ul are in danger. take great care.
