For DSTT user i suggest using USRCheat! DL the rom and usrcheat. extract the usrcheat then go to TTmenu folder in Firmware V 1.17 [for me] then replace the old usrcheat in TTmenu folder with the one you just download, be sure to on the cheat [bypass protection] before start the game and the game will works fine [you can save now]

@kohkindachi Okay, I've tried it, and it saved AND went through the battle tutorial. I'm in the second part of the training forest now, but it works beautifully. Seems like a lot of fun, but I'm gonna go eat dinner now, haha. If I run into anything later, I'll repost, but your patch is working without a snag so far. Thanks!!

I won't even address the people who aren't paying any attention to the links already in the comments. @ totheleft: Yes, it is working quite fine. If you don't want to patch it yourself, just download the already patched rom. Or get the latest cheat file from the second god, Curley.
