This game is a side scrolling platformer.
It's a Mario Brothers clone, hence the "Giana Sisters". Instead of a Flower to give you a boost to shoot fireballs, you get a "Punk" Giana boost that lets you shoot fireballs. You can stomp on bad guys, shoot them with fireballs, break blocks open, all the classic Mario Brothers stuff.
