This game is the closest you will get from Landstalker for Sega Genesis. I am actually surprised that Romulation does not have that old "retro" game, since it's so popular, that's just too bad. :( Short of Lady Stalker, which is one of the sequels for Landstalker, or Alundar 1 (for Playstation 1), this game is made by the same company that made Landstalker and it has a similar feel to it. This game is totally in the 3-D aspect of Landstalker, you can do many of the same things, like pick up boxed, etc. VERY GOOD GAME! Enjoy this fun action-RPG! And check out Landstalker for the Sega Genesis, you will be VERY glad you did! ^_^

This game is actually very enjoyable despite being "Zelda-like." It's an action puzzle game where the point is to beat each stage quickly while collecting gems. Also you can skip the boring storyline scenes.

Is this game compatible with DeSmuME?

I was sucked into this game by comments about its Zelda-likeness. The games has the one of the best vid openings I ve seen for a while. Music and screen visuals are somehow Zelda-like. The chars are cute and anime-style (which I like) but the dialogs tend to stretch and the gameplay is disappointing due to very restricted areas/levels to roam and you have to collect all your items every time new. So the gameplay is basically collecting items in the right order to defeat monsters in the right order (at least in the beginning). After 163 min I was bored to death and dumped it. Worked flawless on M3RealSakura.

I'm enjoying it so far, although that fairy is much like Navi - incredibly annoying. It's a pretty fun game, despite the slight repetition. People really need to understand that the DS is not as much of an action-based console as, say, the 360. There's a lot of good text-based games out there, such as Phoenix Wright. Does it really kill you to read a lot?

Well, lets all face that fact, games on the Ds are either incerdible or just a headache...or dangerously borderlining both...

This game is rather terrible. It's a series of lengthy dialog scenes broken up by really short bits of gameplay. In other words, it feels like a Bioware game. I want to PLAY games, not watch them.

I'd like to suggest the 'role-playing' get taken out of the genre there....this is isometric platform-action with some thinking involved depending on the level you're on. you do not retain items from one level to the next, there is no experience/leveling system besides gaining additional life after beating a boss, like in zelda. the most rpg-like thing here is a long-ish dialogue before or after some levels. anyway, i wasn't -expecting- rpg and i'm not much a fan of them, so i'm really enjoying the game.. each level only takes a few minutes to complete, and you may save after each. this makes it perfect for a handheld game. play for as short or as long as you'd like. grab it, play it, love it.

Fucking dick game. i downloaded it, played it for about 2 and a half hours. i wasnt even allowed to buy any map parts for the fucking map maker thingy! and now when i was gonna play it again, my fucking save got deleted! the save file didnt get corrupted or deleted, i still got the .sav file, but inside the game only 'new game' appears! i cant load my game! fucking dick shit! and i dont wanna bother playing all the fucking retarded 40 levels i played!
