Best Game i ever played For the Psx. Most Favorite game i ever played.

Dear jcbro86, I'm sorry, but I can't give you the specific controls, but I can give you what my layout is, (You'll understand in a second): X: S Circle: D Square: A Triangle: W Select: G Start: H Up: Up Arrow Down: Down Arrow Left: Left Arrow Right: Right Arrow L1: E L2: Q R1: / R2: . This Controller Layout works pretty well with just about any game. (With the exception of Brave Fencer Musashi, in which for a stupid reason, my computer won't allow me to hold Up, Left, and S at the same time).

this is a great game but if you're having trouble with keyboard controls try this set up arrow keys: movement (x)fire main weapon (z)boost (a)laser blade (s)switch weapons (q)strafe left (w)strafe right (d)look up (c)look down these control work perfectly with almost any other game.

OHH!!! This game is very addicting.One of the reasons I never did my home work,HA.So many parts that you could spend your entire life and never make the exact same AC.Also,keep a look out for hidden parts in some levels.Like really powerful weapons and parts to sell for a load of credits.Game is best played with a USB controller.Unless,your a true vetern.....

use an adaptor for ps1/ps2 controller(cheap and useful and works just fine)

I recommend the xbox 360 controller and not some cheap logitech crap. For the record i dont like xbox i just like there controller :D

On the controllers, a cheaper method then purchasing a xbox 360 or playstation 3 controller would be the logitech dual action computer controller. It runs around $ 20 in my area, and it is set up like a playstation 1 / 2 / 3 controller.

i really love this game, in my opinion, its is the best mech game series available if you want your mech to move at near human speed. mechwarrior is really good too but just a little slow paced to me. tip: if you get this and play it you can then use your save game on project phantasma and both of them can be carried over to the master of arena game, you you could have alot of credits, and enough parts to make alot of different ac's. by the way, the controls were made to compliment the psx controler. my set up is... a-strafe left s-turn left d-walk back f-turn right g-strafe right e-walk forward h-look up j-fire k-jump/boost l-fire left armweapon ;-look down i-cycle weapons if anyone else has a better control layout please post cause i'm having alot of trouble w this setup even for the look up/down and strafe keys. thanks.

I love this game and the whole series. I recommend it. Lots of customization with building your Armored Core. Controls are a little hard to work out on a keyboard (it's better with a controller) but you can do it.
