This game is great! It is pretty limited in comparison to the sequels for the ps2, but still pretty packed especially for what you would expect of a "make your own game" game back then. If you simply refuse to emulate ps2 then I suggest you use this. To the people who have made comments on cheating on the game without using gameshark or anything they don't understand the premise of it. Changing the default game is not really cheating as that is just kind of there to help show you a little bit of what the game is capable of. For it's time I give it a 8/10, but for todays time and considering the sequels have much more capabilities I'd give it a 5/10. If you wanna make your own game make sure you have some time on your hands, as it requires more attention than most people would normally expect.
this game is kinda boring, but its great for people who like two dee looking sprite games. You could just get a updated version of the Maker for windows if you wanted to try a new exsperience, i would suggest this for people new to the playstation.

RPG MAker or RPG Tsukuru (Japanese version) is a tool for rpg game creation, very usefull, a little limitid but have the basics, you can create any Story on it, with the characters you want.

RPG Maker rocks! Unless you are the type that doesn't like making your own games. It is limited but lets you do a lot of stuff! You can even make your own character images in it!
This is a great game for people who have no experience in creating games, but have always wanted to see what it's like to do so. Be sure to have either a huge virtual memory card, or a load of them, this game eats memory like a fat guy and a bag of fritos.

Its like that so you can make bosses and things the way you want and all that jazz. but its a fine game an all but the newer versions are much better and less complicated
It is very easy to complete....
You can even cheat in it without CE,gameshark or so on...
Just edit it and make a chest full of gold in the starting town and thats it =X

U can also make the character lv 99 lolz then the boss will be a summer breeze!
