So, you say you enjoy survival horror? Done a few tours of duty with Jill and Leon in Resident Evil? Well that was just a laugh-fest compared to this twisted, bloody tale. Turn off the lights and grip your controller tight, you're in Silent Hill. A great game for it's time, and one that stands the test of time. This experience is a prime example of moode and setting trumping graphics and finacial backing. Just walking through a thick setting of fog makes you un-easy. The creatores of this game captured the kind of setting not really seen since in video games. Be warned, this game isnt meant for people who scare easy. This is easily in the top 5 best Survival Horror games of all time, and you would be missing out if you didn't download this and play it. I give it a 9/10. Class-sick!

Thank you for sharing this game. I (believe it or not) never got to play this game when it was released and now I can't find it to buy other than crappy used copies (ie scratched to hell, and my PSX is on its last leg too).

Loved the opening movie. I've always wanted to play SH and now I can!
I will always have a couple fond memory's of this game, one of which was when ToysRus refused to sell it to me ┌∩â”(â—•_â—•) XD. Second is when those little kid things kill you in the beginning. This game does have its scary points, RE2 only had me scared when I was running around with Mr.X popping out from the walls. Really is a great game, and a must try.
